Poddar I am so happy you joined the musical site. Dave Flynn who created the site put up some music by Ravi Shankar this morning for two reasons.. first he loves Ravi Shankar and has seen him perform in person and secondly to greet you! He was really pleased to hear you would be joining us there.

I my goodness.. just saw your musical interests and you have a lot in common with Dave Flynn too. He was in a rock band for years called Crossroads and some of his stuff is in my playlist.. like the goo goo dolls song Iris is sung by him but he knows the man who sang that because they are from Buffalo New York so all the bands know each other.. John ... something.. is the lead singer of the Goo Goo Dolls... anyway Dave sounds a lot like him and John was quite blown away by Dave's version.. he told Dave "Hey man you sound just like me!"... then the next song on the play list called Through the Iris was written by Dave but sung by a guy named Chris Vaughn who was a singer for Crossroads. Dave is the drummer for that group.. then the third song called Simple Man is sung by Dave Flynn. So if you like come to my page on the music site and find the Playlist there and have a listen. You will find the first piece of music is by Matisyahu singing one of the Psalms from the Old Testament in Hebrew. That is a beautiful song too.
